Deborah Kordon, 75, of Dickinson, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.

A Liturgy service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson, with Fr. Stepan Ivanchyk officiating. The Rosary will be led by Christian Rodakowski at 10:30 am, prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Belfield.

Deborah Ann (Stockert) Kordon was born on June 3, 1950, in Dickinson, ND, to Christian and Pauline Stockert. She grew up in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson Central High School. She worked for many years in childcare and later became widely known for her work as a professional clown with Clowns of America, a role she held for over 20 years and deeply loved.

In 1982, she married Mark Kordon at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Fairfield, where the couple made their home for 43 years on their ranch west of Fairfield. Deborah was also active in arts and crafts, studying Ukrainian and German embroidery, and was involved in the State Council of Arts. Her faith and service to the Church were central throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband Mark; siblings and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Amanda Ann, and other family members.
