On April 18, St. Demetrius Parish joyfully welcomed children and youth for a special gathering of the Mustard Seed Club. A total of 17 participants took part in this faith-filled and joyful day together.
The day began with the Divine Liturgy and catechesis, offering the children an opportunity to grow in their faith and deepen their understanding of the life, death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Following the services, everyone gathered in the parish dining hall to enjoy breakfast together.
Throughout the day, the children participated in fun team games, watched the inspiring film Light of the World about the life and Resurrection of Christ, shared a delicious lunch, and ended the gathering with a joyful Easter egg hunt that brought smiles and excitement to all.
The gathering was filled with prayer, laughter, fellowship, and the spirit of Easter joy. We are grateful to all the volunteers, parents, and parishioners who helped organize and support this beautiful day for our children and youth.
Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
