The Easter season is a time of light, renewal, and heartfelt generosity — and our parish community has recently been blessed by two beautiful acts of kindness that reflect this spirit.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Jordan Lammers, whose thoughtful Easter-season donation made it possible to purchase two elegant olive oil candles for our church altar. These candles, blessed on Good Friday, now shine brightly throughout our Easter celebrations, serving as a visible reminder of the light of Christ. We are deeply thankful for this meaningful gift, which enhances the beauty of our liturgical space and inspires us to care for our sacred home.
We are also incredibly grateful to Ardyce Palaniuk, who generously donated new tablecloths for the St. Demetrius Church dining hall. Her kind gift, offered with love for our parish, has added a fresh and welcoming touch to the space where we gather for fellowship and celebrations. Thanks to her generosity, our shared meals and events will feel even more special.
May the Lord bless Jordan and Ardyce for their thoughtful contributions. May their kindness inspire all of us to support and nurture our parish in big and small ways — with open hearts and generous spirits.
Thank you for helping our parish shine — this Easter and always.
