On Sunday, February 15, the parish community of St. Demetrius gathered for a joyful afternoon of fellowship during the parish event Borscht & Bingo (B&B). The day began with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM, bringing parishioners together in prayer and thanksgiving.
Following the Liturgy, everyone was invited to the parish dining hall where a warm and delicious serving of traditional borscht was offered at 11:30 AM. The homemade soup provided a perfect opportunity for parishioners, families, and guests to enjoy conversation and community.
At 12:00 PM, the hall filled with laughter and excitement as the Bingo games began. Parishioners of all ages participated, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and strengthened the bonds within the parish community.
Events like Borscht & Bingo continue to play an important role in parish life at St. Demetrius, bringing together faith, culture, and friendship. The parish extends its gratitude to all volunteers who prepared the food and organized the event, as well as to everyone who attended and made the day such a success.
