Summer Catechetical Camp at Our Parish

Summer is a special time when children and youth not only rest and enjoy themselves but also grow in faith, build friendships, and discover the beauty of life with God. This year, our parish once again hosted a catechetical camp that brought young people together in an atmosphere of prayer, joy, and Christian fellowship.

For several days August 11-15, the children took part in the Divine Liturgy, daily prayers, and catechetical lessons. The main theme this year was the Seven Holy Mysteries of the Church. The participants learned not only about their meaning but also about how these Mysteries work in the everyday life of every Christian.

Of course, camp is also about fun! The children enjoyed games, songs, dances, crafts, sports, and team challenges. All of this helped them feel the joy of being together and experience the parish as a true spiritual family.

One of the highlights was a trip outdoors, where the young participants could admire the beauty of God’s creation and enjoy time together in nature. These moments left a lasting impression and strengthened their gratitude to the Creator.

Our catechetical camp was a living witness that faith can be joyful, engaging, and life-giving. We are grateful to all the organizers, parents, and parishioners for their prayers and support. May the seeds of God’s Word planted in these days bear abundant fruit in the lives of our young people!
